Every fuel injector type has a unique minimum injection time and latency for it to fully open since energized.
This latency is often referenced as injector lag or dead time, latency or delay (ip_ti_add_dly__vb).
It is strongly dependant on the supply voltage and therefor stored in an interpolated table.
The minimum injection time is also important to make sure the injection pattern is clear and complete. (c_ti_min_iv). Minimum injection time is calculated by subtracting the dead time at 14v from the minimum pulse width.
All values here are meant for the standard fuel pressure of 3.5 bars (50.76 psi). The flow rate for different pressures can be calculated here: Injector Calculator
ATTENTION: The conversion factor of the old definitions files is wrong. Correct conversion factor for injector deadtime is "X * 0.032", resulting in a range of 0.00ms to 8.16ms.
